HELP!
We are going to VA and meeting a WV and GA shelter there along with many VA shelters. Memorial Day is one of the WORST weekends for dogs in the south, long weekends have the HIGHEST put to sleep rate. Because it is a long weekend, they usually PTS on Friday, because we have agreed to help rescue MANY of their adoptable dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, they have agreed to save them from euthansia. We are so excited to be able to help them, and we need your help to do that! It is so hard to be down there and turn dogs away that we can find homes for so quickly here in NJ. There are over 1000 dogs and cats to choose from, please help us help them! The transport is coming in SUNDAY around 7-8pm at Woofs N Whiskers Boarding Facility www.woofsnwhiskers.net for directions.

Hey errybody! No major updates this week.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
THIS WEEKEND ADOPTIONS Saturday 11-4 Mt Olive PetSmart
June 12th and 13th, Best Friends Big Adoption Event, Livingston Mall-over 8,000-10,000 people are planned to be in attendance!
We are rescheduling the WV/VA trip to the weekend of 5/29, Please let me know ASAP if you will be attending!
KENNEL HELP NEEDED
With the nice weather, we would love volunteers to come and help socialize our kennel dogs, there are 7 of them there, many of which cannot come up to adoptions because they are not good with other dogs, but they love and crave attention and would love to spend time with each of you 
We also need volunteers to bathe and feed them. Or even someone to come and take their pictures and help improve their bios on petfinder!
FOSTERS NEEDED:
Single pups
Moms and pups
Adults of all sizes, sexes

Skipper Doo-HuskyShep mix, so scared at kennel, needs quiet foster for rehabilitation

VOLUNTEER AT THE KENNEL

FOSTERS NEEDED:
We are in a real financial bind, our vet bills are over the roof and we have not been doing many adoptions lately due to less pups then usual available for adoption. We need help, so anyone who is willing to do any fundraising help would be appreciated.

Here we are in the blogosphere! We’ve created this blog to help get out “The Scoop” information in a way that we can look back and really see all the lives that you have helped save.
At it’s base, this will be an informational blog that will directly reflect Alissa’s Scoop email that she sends out every Thursday. Having a blog like this will also help us directly link out to our Twitter followers and for YOU to send to your friends/family/coworkers instead of forwarding a whole email. What we’re hoping is that we can spread this blog around and have more people subscribe to The Scoop and ultimately increase the number of fosters/volunteers/awesome people in Purrs N’ Pups.
